I believe deeply in people’s capacity to heal when they feel truly seen, understood, and safe. I became a therapist because I’ve always been drawn to listening beneath the surface and holding space for the parts of people’s stories that are often minimized, misunderstood, or carried alone. Becoming a therapist felt like a natural way to offer presence, care, and curiosity in moments that matter most.
The part of therapy that brings me the most joy is witnessing quiet, meaningful shifts—when a client speaks more kindly to themselves, feels relief naming something out loud for the first time, or realizes they are not broken, but responding understandably to what they’ve lived through. I find deep fulfillment in building trusting relationships where clients feel supported as they grow, heal, and reconnect with themselves at their own pace.
I am especially drawn to working with thoughtful, motivated individuals who are ready to understand themselves more deeply, often navigating grief, loss, and trauma, particularly through experiences that feel heavy, complex, or difficult to put into words. Many of the people I work best with feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected, yet have a quiet inner knowing that something needs to shift. When therapy comes to a close, my hope is that clients leave with greater self-trust, emotional clarity, and compassion for their own story.
In session, I offer evidence-based, trauma-informed care. I am EMDR-trained and deeply integrate Polyvagal Theory and nervous system-informed approaches into my practice. Therapy is always guided by your values, beliefs, and goals. Whether or not you choose to incorporate faith or spirituality, my priority is providing ethical care that supports healing in a way that feels authentic to you.
