Do you have areas where you want to grow? Perhaps you experienced trauma as a child or as a younger adult and even though things are a lot better now, you know you haven’t completely healed. You realize that your actions and the lifestyle you want to live aren’t always aligned, but you’re having trouble breaking negative cycles. It could be that you are struggling with addictions or substance abuse – or recovering from those things. You’re self-aware and have already made some progress, but you know you are nowhere near where you want to be. You want to finally get past some of these obstacles that are holding you back.
When you come to counseling, I want you to feel safe, seen, and heard. Be your authentic self. As we continue to work together, I want you to feel confident that you’re making progress. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy.
I am a Christian and am comfortable discussing faith-related topics in therapy, but I also advocate for clients to set limits and boundaries. You are the professional of your own life. You will lead the sessions. I am here to provide assistance and help you gain the tools and systems you need to find healing and live the life you want to live.
