Are you struggling to fully experience, express, and regulate your emotions? Has this led to anxiety, stress, depression, lack of motivation, disorganization, or difficulty prioritizing self-care? Perhaps this internal struggle has manifested itself externally. Maybe your relationships are being negatively impacted, you’re not performing your best at work, and you have trouble finding rest at home. Maybe your anxiety has even started to negatively impact your physical health. These mental struggles have seeped into every area of your life, and you want it to stop.
Your struggles are valid. I’ll help you explore your values, core beliefs, learning styles, and approaches to healing. Evidence-based approaches I use include motivational interviewing, stages-of-change model, trauma-informed Seeking Safety, mindfulness-based stress reduction, polyvagal theory, cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and twelve-step facilitation when appropriate.
I take an integrative approach, prioritizing nervous system regulation with body-based strategies and self-care, nutrition, sleep habits, and movement above cognitive approaches. I want to help the whole person. Sessions are client-led. You will always choose the pace. Hope and healing are possible.
