Local Nonprofit leader who helped deliver 100+ homes at Habitat for Humanity of Greater Fort Wayne joins to grow operations and client impact
FORT WAYNE, IN | AUGUST 14, 2025
Crosswinds Counseling, one of Lasting Change, Inc’s family of impact-oriented organizations, is proud to announce that Jeremy McClish has officially joined as Vice President of Crosswinds Counseling.
McClish brings eight years of leadership experience with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Fort Wayne, as the COO and then CEO, during which Habitat increased their annual new‑home production from an average of seven to more than twenty. During his time, the team built more than 100 homes, providing safe and stable homes for approximately 275 children in our community.
At Crosswinds, we’re committed to offering lasting change, healing, and hope through faith-informed, evidence-based care,” said Tim Smith, CEO of Lasting Change, parent organization to Crosswinds. “Jeremy’s faith, his passion for mental health rooted in personal experience, and his desire to see others thrive make him the ideal fit. His track record at Habitat–where he helped fulfill a mission rooted in compassion and transformation–perfectly complements the work we do at Crosswinds.”
“I’m thrilled to join Crosswinds because its mission aligns so closely with my passion for emotional and relational health,” said Jeremy McClish. “This is an opportunity to help more folks experience real growth and positive, lasting change, while partnering with a deeply committed team. The need has never been greater, and this team is uniquely positioned to make a life‑changing difference.”
At Crosswinds, McClish will focus on strengthening day‑to‑day operations, scaling proven practices, and sharpening an outcomes‑driven culture. Early priorities include a listening tour with staff and partners, process mapping to remove friction from client journeys, and conducting a deep assessment of what internal metrics are most valued because, as he notes, “you get what you measure.”
