I became a therapist because I’ve witnessed the profound difference therapy can make. Life is hard and messy, but I believe no one should ever have to go through it alone. You don’t have to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. My goal is to journey with you – to listen, care, and persevere. To remind you that you matter. In my work, nothing brings me greater joy than seeing someone grow in confidence and live the life they want.
I have worked with individuals and families experiencing trauma, broken relationships, difficult transitions, and a build‑up of stressors. I recognize that choosing to come to therapy can be intimidating, but I believe you are the expert on your life—your emotions, thoughts, family, experiences, and relationships. Your story matters. And I want to understand and honor that story, moving toward the goals you have for yourself. At the end of our time together, I want you to feel a renewed sense of confidence and hope. Confidence that you have the tools and skills you need to live the life you want to live, and hope that the growth we’ve started together is just the beginning.
At the heart of the Christian faith is a belief in the dignity and value of every person, regardless of their beliefs. Jesus loved those who were overlooked. He cared for people who were hurting. That is the approach I bring to my practice. If you find strength in your faith, we can integrate that into our work together. If that is not something you’re comfortable with, I am able to tailor my approach to meet your needs and values. I know what it is like to experience struggles and need help. But I also know the hope that comes on the other side of healing. We may not share the same experiences, but I want to share that same hope with you.
