I chose to become a therapist because I believe God called me to this role. I feel blessed to walk alongside people through difficult seasons and provide a safe place where they can feel heard, supported, and understood. The most rewarding part is seeing clients recognize their strengths, experience growth, and find hope.
I enjoy working with clients who are navigating life’s challenges and looking for support, growth, and hope. I hope to bring light into their lives by helping them build confidence, recognize their strengths, and learn to give themselves grace. I also want to help clients work through guilt and shame in a healthy way and develop a greater sense of hope and self‑worth. When a client finishes therapy, I hope they feel stronger, more confident, and better equipped to face life with grace and hope.
My faith in Jesus is an important part of who I am and why I feel called to counseling. I believe every person is created with value, purpose, and worth, and I strive to reflect Christ’s love, grace, and compassion in the way I work with clients. I also value evidence‑based therapy and believe faith and clinical practice can work together to support healing and growth. With clients who share my faith, I am comfortable incorporating Christian beliefs, prayer, Scripture, and spiritual practices when they are desired and appropriate. With clients who have different beliefs or do not share my faith, I respect their values and meet them where they are.
