Shaun's Bio

Looking for a change? Despite your best efforts, you aren’t where you want to be. Forces beyond your control leave you grieving, hurting, or generally unsatisfied. You may be struggling with addiction, substance abuse, past trauma, a negative mindset, or just unwanted habits. These struggles are starting to affect your relationships. You know life can be better, and you’re ready for the next step. You want help. Real help. You want direction from someone who won’t judge you. Someone on your side. A person who will really listen to you, work with you to set goals and help you acquire the tools you need to achieve them.

I’m here for you. I want to understand your perspective and the context of your life. Together we’ll identify goals. When we meet, we’ll take time to reflect and process where you’re at and see if your goals still suit you. Evidence-based techniques I use include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy.

I’m here to encourage you to move in the direction of your values. I want to help you build compassion for yourself and others in your life. I want you to process the things that have been holding you back and see the real progress you have made. I’m happy to integrate faith into our sessions if desired, but that is not required. I am here to support you.

Our team of counselors has helped thousands of people gain confidence and overcome difficulty.
