Modalities: I have Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy training. I also utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused Therapy.
If your insurance is not one that I accept, please check with your insurance provider to see if there would be any out-of-network reimbursement available to you for any of our therapy sessions. Crosswinds also accepts debit, credit, or HSA/FSA cards as forms of payment. The rate per therapy session is $125-$195.
Have you been struggling lately? Perhaps you’ve encountered some depression or anxiety. You could find yourself in a difficult situation now, or still trying to recover from a past trauma. It could be your child who is struggling, and it feels like nothing you are doing is working. Perhaps you’ve considered counseling or have tried therapy in the past. You know you can do better, but you don’t want to have someone try to change everything about you. You know who you are and what you value. You want someone to listen. Really listen. You have a goal or goals for yourself, but don’t quite have the tools to reach them.
I don’t want you to feel like you are coming to a doctor’s office. Here you set your goals. I typically use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques in sessions. I want to help you learn how to align your behaviors to reflect your values. We will regularly review your goals, adding to or redirecting them based on your circumstances and preferences.
If you don’t know what you want for yourself, I want to help you recognize your needs. I want to help you be the best version of you. If you’re hesitant, we can work on coping skills and grounding exercises so that you are comfortable. We typically won’t process trauma right away, but we’ll get there as you are comfortable.
