Breaking Cycles
Have you been struggling with anxiety and/or depression? Feeling overwhelmed and held back by past hurt and trauma? You know that you can’t change the past, but you would like to learn healthy coping skills. More than that, you want to find healing. Perhaps this cycle of anxiety and depression has left you with low self-esteem. You have goals, but you aren’t sure how to accomplish them. You want to understand how past situations and life events contribute to who you are today. You want to break cycles, and find peace, knowing that you are moving toward the life you want to live. You want to feel loved, heard, and supported.
I want to help you grow and reach your goals. I take a client-centered approach to therapy, meaning you are the expert on your life and your goals. You are the ultimate driver of therapy. Together we will work to help you develop the tools you need to reduce symptoms and improve overall daily functioning. I often use CBT and Trauma-Focused CBT in sessions.
As we continue to meet, I’ll ask for feedback. I want to know how you think sessions can be improved. I want to know areas you want to see your life get better. The ability to work with and help people in a 1:1 setting is part of what drove me to be a therapist. Click the button below to request an appointment so that we can start working toward your goals.
