Bio: Jim earned a BS degree from Purdue University and a two-year Bible Certificate from a local Christian school. He is an ordained minister through Broadway Christian Church and for a number of years, a state certified Social Worker. For most of the last 40 years he has focused on training others how to minister to children. For 25 years, he supervised the total operation of a non-profit organization which includes a summer camp for inner city children, a ministry that trains youth and conducts retreats that help couples better parent their children. Since 1999, Jim and his wife have been leading annual mission trips to South Africa where teams provide camp ministry to street children. Jim also helped develop a discipleship program for men coming out of gangs and violence in South Africa. In 2009, Jim developed an outreach to incarcerated men from a minimum security prison. This ministry continues to expand. Jim has extensive experience working with adolescents, men and couples. Additionally, because of his own personal experiences and observing the lives of others, Jim has a strong trust in the redeeming love of the Lord. His coaching therefore, often encourages others to put their faith in the God that has the plan for their life.
