Bio: Diana Ball is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker ( LCSW) with over 10 years of experience in the fields of social work and mental health. She received her Masters of Social Work from the University of Kentucky and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. from the University of Louisville Kent School of Social Work. Diana is experienced working with adults and adolescents in individual and group settings. She enjoys helping people overcome a wide variety of struggles including substance use disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma, personality disorders, and chronic pain.
As a closet academic, Diana strives to use evidence-based practices and works to tailor her approach to individual client needs including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Enhancement Therapy. Regardless of the therapeutic technique, Diana is strongly rooted in social work’s person-in-environment and systems perspectives. This leads to her taking a holistic approach. She enjoys helping her clients discover freedom and peace in the midst of struggle.
